High Commissioner Prasanna Gamage meets with CEO, New Zealand Education

High Commissioner Prasanna Gamage met with Ms. Amanda Malu, CEO of New Zealand Education, and Ms. Sahinde Pala, Group General Manager – International & Sector Engagement on November 26, 2025.
Their discussions focused on potential areas for enhanced bilateral education collaboration between Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Key areas identified include technical and vocational education (TVET), training and capacity building, early childhood education, and developing pathway programmes between tertiary education institutions in both countries.
Education has been designated a key sector in the bilateral cooperation agenda between the two nations.
